The Benbow Bulletin: February Fun!

February is always a big month in our family as it includes both Evan and my birthday as well as Valentine's Day.

This year I surprised Evan for his birthday: I had all our friends surprise Evan at a restaurant he has wanted to go to for a long time as its owned by one of the Voltaggio brothers from Top Chef (one of Evan's favorite shows). And the even better surprise was I got the owner to personally sign a cookbook for Evan. I was very proud of myself for keeping it all a secret for a month while I put it all together.

Just before heading out for Evan's birthday and leaving Hayden to play with Ariel and Kelsey.

Valentine's Day was a big day for Hayden. We started off at gym class and then headed to her first Valentine's Day party.

February was also filled with fun times at swim lessons with Kelsey and Ava. Hayden loves swim lessons and is really good at kicking her legs and she even started jumping off the edge of the pool into our arms!!

February also ended up being a month with alot of change at the end as we found out we would be moving to South Carolina for new jobs, which was very exciting on the one hand and very sad on the other. We have made such amazing friends in Frederick and it was very hard to say goodbye to them.

Once again we tried to get all the kids to face the camera, this is as close as we got, but you can see all the attempts. Tyler was the man - 1 boy with 5 girls in bed.

Tyler was very sad for Hayden to leave so he gave her a big hug to remember him by!!

Bye bye to all Hayden's amazing Little Gym friends. Its hard to believe when they all met they were barely even rolling over and now a year later they are all hanging on the bar by themselves. Ethan, Kelsey, Summer, Avery and Hayden.
